The Big 5 Trade Show

The Big 5 Trade Show is a UAE-based free trade exhibition specializing in the markets of building materials and general contracting. The Big 5 is classified as the largest trade show in the UAE and the biggest in the Middle East in terms of space, the volume of goods and products displayed, as well as the number of exhibitors and visitors from the Middle East and around the world.

The exhibition started in 1979 in Dubai, UAE, and construction experts from the region and the world attend The Big 5 Trade Show which continues to expand over time.

The exhibition is held once a year and is an open exhibition that includes many different areas of contracting and building, which are displayed in 40 sections with the participation of over 1200 local and international companies. These companies include private institutions, factories, contracting companies, and building material trading companies.

The Big 5 Trade Show includes more than 20,000 construction supplies, and the number of products displayed reaches over 1400 commercial items, while the number of visitors to the exhibition exceeds 68,000 annually.

The number of exhibitors also exceeds 2400, including approximately 2000 Arab exhibitors, and 400 international exhibitors, with 60 participating trade zones from 50 countries.

These investment institutions and different companies showcase multiple products in the construction and contracting field, such as reinforcement steel, electrical tools, plumbing tools, metal tools, machines like mixers and bulldozers, vehicles and spare parts, building materials such as bricks and sand, lighting and lamps, industrial raw materials, metal, chemical, glass, and cement materials for construction, as well as flooring, ceramics, ceilings, decorations, tiles, doors, windows, and stones, gardening equipment, and tools.

The Big 5 Trade Show starts at 9:00 AM and continues until 5:00 PM, except for official holidays.

KONNICE Electric has participated in The Big 5 Trade Show for many years, including the exhibitions held in 2016, 2017, and 2018, to showcase its various electrical tools manufactured in the company’s factories in Egypt and China. KONNICE has allocated a large area in its pavilion to display its products, meet with existing and potential clients, and establish partnerships and cooperation with companies in the construction and contracting sector.
